On August 30, 2010 I, Detective Shawn P. Terro, was assigned the administrative investigation into an alleged incident which occurred on August 28, 2010 at Maurice City Bar (Maurice, Louisiana) involving Officer Brian Baumgardner. The incident involved a disturbance between Officer Baumgardner and his girlfriend. Subsequently, Officer Baumgardner was handcuffed, questioned, and later released by Maurice City Police.
